A brilliant starting point

Realise that God has actually found You and not as we are led to believe that we must first find him.

We are invited into his world and share everything with him.

Give this a try. Ask him if it is true!

The starting point is Jesus is in us already. Paul writes that God’s grace reveals that Jesus was in him from the very beginning.

Galatians 1:11-16J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)

The gospel was given to me by Christ himself, and not by any human agency, as my story will show

11-12 The Gospel I preach to you is no human invention. No man gave it to me, no man taught it to me; it came to me as a direct revelation from Jesus Christ.

13-19 For you have heard of my past career in the Jewish religion, how I persecuted the Church of God with fanatical zeal and, in fact, did my best to destroy it. I was ahead of most of my contemporaries in the Jewish religion, and had a greater enthusiasm for the old traditions. But when the time came for God (who had chosen me from the moment of my birth, and then called me by his grace) to reveal his Son within me so that I might proclaim him to the non-Jewish world, I did not, as might have been expected, talk over the matter with any human being.

We were together chosen before the foundation of the earth.

Ephesians 1:3-6J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)

Praise God for what he has done for us Christians!

3-6 Praise be to God for giving us through Christ every possible spiritual benefit as citizens of Heaven! For consider what he has done—before the foundation of the world he chose us to become, in Christ, his holy and blameless children living within his constant care. He planned, in his purpose of love, that we should be adopted as his own children through Jesus Christ—that we might learn to praise that glorious generosity of his which has made us welcome in the everlasting love he bears towards the Son.

The promise of the Holy Spirit is quite clear.

In the Old Testament

[ESV]The LORD Will Pour Out His Spirit

Joel 2 28e “And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.

The promise is for ALL not some .

In the New Testament Jesus says that it is to our advantage that he goes back to the Father.

John 14:25-26J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)

25-26 “I have said all this while I am still with you. But the one who is coming to stand by you, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will be your teacher and will bring to your minds all that I have said to you.

So all this looks like a given.
